Zhujiajiao is one of those places that’s genuinely beautiful and completely ruined by crowds by 10am. We go early. At 7am the stone bridges reflect in the canals, the breakfast stalls are just opening, and the only people there are locals. By the time the tour buses arrive, we’re having lunch and heading back.
